New York's Finest Athletes is recognized as a tax-exempt, 501©3 non-profit basketball organization. New York's Finest Athletes was formally known as Middletown's Finest which was founded in 2011 by executive director Lewis Sampson.  New York's Finest offers kids of all ages from across the Tri-state New York area a competitive basketball experience.  New York's Finest mission is to give an opportunity for every student athlete to achieve, excel, and to the be the best they can be both on and off the court.  New York's Finest is mainly known for player development.  Many athletes joined the program with little to no basketball skill.  The program has proven effective, as 95% of Finest players respectively make their school teams through New York's Finest intense individual and group training.  New York's Finest is well staffed with volunteers who dedicate their time and offer their expertise with many aspects of the program. New York's Finest goal is to be the premier basketball program in the tri-state area. Therefore being affordable, hands on, mentors, and giving every kid just an opportunity, will indeed make a positive impact in ones life, which will make a positive effect in the community.
